Faceted, oval shaped, emerald-cut loose emerald. Hand selected Colombian emerald direct from Bogota, Colombia and the Muzo Mine. Colombian emeralds are reputed as one of the most natural and beautiful gemstones in the world, and they are the only range of emeralds that are formed in sedimentary host rock instead of the igneous rock. Because of their natural state, they have the most coveted pure vivid color. Minimal treatment to the emerald (oiling) features excellent polish.
