Treatment of chicken broiler chickens, turkeys, geese, ducks, suffering from infectious avian rhinitis, necrotic enteritis, stafilococcosis, streptococcosis, colibacillosis, pasteurellosis, salmonellosis, campylobacteriosis, Glasser’s disease, pseudomonosis, mycoplasmosis and other diseases caused by microorganisms sensitive to enrofloxacin.

DESCRIPTION. Transparent liquid from light yellow to yellow color with a specific smell.

PHARMACOLOGICAL  CHARACTERISTICS. Enrofloxacin – broad-spectrum antibiotic of the fluoroquinolone group. Its mechanism of action is associated with antimicrobial inhibition of bacterial DNA gyrase, leading to disruption of bacterial DNA replication.

The  drug  has  bactericidal  effect  on  gram-positive  and gram-negative  microorganisms: E.  coli,  Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Clostridium spp., Listeria monocytogenes, Corinebacterium spp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Haemophilus spp., Salmonella spp., Klebsiella spp., Proteus spp., Pasteurella spp.and others, as well as acting on mycoplasma (Mycoplasma spp.) and chlamydia (Chlamydia spp.).

APPLICATION. Treatment of chicken broiler chickens, turkeys,  geese,  ducks,  suffering  from  infectious  avian rhinitis,  necrotic  enteritis,  stafilococcosis,  streptococcosis, colibacillosis, pasteurellosis, salmonellosis, campylobacteriosis,  Glasser’s  disease,  pseudomonosis, mycoplasmosis and other diseases caused by microorganisms sensitive to enrofloxacin.

DOSAGE. Orally at a dose of 0.10 ml per 1 kg of body weight or 0.5-1 ml per 1 liter of drinking water for 3 days. In case of salmonellosis drug is used for 5 days. Change drinking  water  every  24  hours.  During  treatment  give poultry only drinking water with enrofloxacin.

CONTRAINDICATIONS. Do not use poultry with increased sensitivity to enrofloxacin. Do not use concurrently  with  theophylline  (aminophylline),  sucralfate,  nitrofurantoin,  antacids.  In  combination  with  tetracycline, macrolides and chloramphenicol (chloramphenicol) may occur  antagonistic  effects.  Do  not  use  simultaneously with  the  vaccine  against  Marek’s  disease.  Do  not  assign to poultry with nervous disorders and disorders of growth cartilage. Do not use to chickens, laying hens, which eggs are used in food by people.

PRECAUTIONS. Slaughter of poultry for meat is allowed  in  5  days  after  the  last  application  of  the  drug. Obtained,  by  the  deadline,  meat  fed  to  unproductive animals or utilize, according to a conclusion of doctor of veterinary medicine.

STORAGE. Dry, dark, unreachable for children place at temperature from 5°С tо 25°С. To store the medicine separately from food, drinks, including the animal feed.

Expiration  date  –  2  years. Expiration  date  of  diluted drug – 24 hours.
